It’s been a while…

It’s been a while since my last post, and I’ve missed connecting with you all. For a long time, my blog centered around fitness. Over the years, my focus on fitness took a backseat, and I found myself slipping out of shape, which led to feelings of self-loathing that lingered far too long. My struggle with body image made me shy away from social situations and miss out on valuable moments. I avoided things I once enjoyed, letting my insecurities overshadow the joy of living. This period of self-doubt and isolation is a painful reminder of how deeply our self-perception can impact our lives. What I have learned is to never give up, get up and keep trying.

I’ve decided to take a meaningful step forward by returning to what I truly love—writing and blogging. This passion has always been a source of joy and expression for me, and I’m thrilled to reignite it as I embark on this new chapter. Diving back into blogging feels like reconnecting with a part of myself that I’ve missed, and I’m excited to share my journey, insights, and experiences with you all once again. This revitalized focus on writing represents not just a return to a cherished activity but also a fresh start in embracing and enjoying the present moment.

As I shift the focus of my blog from solely a fitness journey to a broader exploration of life, I want to share my personal experience as an expat living in Japan and getting my way back to being fit and healthy.
